Ian was brilliant from start to finish. Really trustworthy, always turned up when he said he would and just got on with things in a proper, straightforward way. The standard of his work is really high and you can tell he takes real pride in doing things properly. He also helped keep everything within budget and didn’t come back with any unnecessary extras, which makes a big difference. We highly recommend Ian if undertaking a home renovation.

Ian completed a significant side and rear extension to our property, including opening up the downstairs to form an open-plan kitchen/diner/family room. We are incredibly pleased with the result - Ian was a pleasure to work with; completely trustworthy and a very high standard of workmanship - he's just the kind of person you want to have in your home, and trust your biggest asset with! We would have no hesitation in recommending, and will use Ian again for any future building work.

Ian did a wonderful job on our fireplace and all the carpentry work across our home. Clare was super efficient in keeping us updated.    

Ian has done several big jobs for us over the years and his work has always been excellent – we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Firstly he redesigned and rebuilt our kitchen so it had a utility room and pantry – both of which he built - as well as fitting the kitchen. He then refurbished a whole house doing much of the building and renovating himself, as well as overseeing and organising all other areas with workmen who also turned out to be excellent.    

Ian could not have done more to help us go through the options and work out what the best way forward for our build. He listened and understood the requirements and came up with the options in a straight forward way. During the build the team were very efficient and extremely tidy totally appreciating that we still had to live in our house.  The end result was exactly what we were looking for and we could not be happier.  

We are very pleased with the work we had done by Redcroft Builders. Ian was easy and pleasant to deal with, he came when he said he would and finished the job within the time he estimated. Would definitely use him again.  

Ian is a lovely man to work with, full of practical ideas and solutions. He explains things clearly and never pushes you into doing anything you’d be unhappy with. He’s a pleasure to have in your house and is always great value for money. We wouldn’t use anyone else and would wait for him if he wasn’t available.

He did more than just build – took over the project managing, liaising with all other services so reduced the stress, and always available to answer any queries. His work ethic is second to none and would highly recommend for your building needs.
